Shefali Jariwala was born on 15th December 1982 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Her father's name is Satish Jariwala, and her mother's name is Sunita Jariwala.

Shefali completed her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School in Gujarat. Later, she pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Sardar Patel College of Engineering.

She began her career in 2002 with the music video "Kanta Laga" by DJ Doll, which catapulted her to fame.

Shefali also made appearances in Bollywood movie "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" and the Kannada movie "Hudugaru."

In 2004, she got married to musician Harmeet Singh from Meet Bros. However, they separated in 2009. After her divorce, Shefali tied the knot with actor Parag Tyagi in the year 2015.
